The Blonsberg is a nature reserve in the municipality of Petersberg in the Saalekreis in Saxony-Anhalt .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG 0177 is around 31  hectares in size. It is almost identical with about 32 hectares of FFH area "north hall Blonsberg" and mostly from the conservation area surrounded "Petersberg". The area has been under protection since 1998 (date of regulation: April 2, 1998). The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the Saalekreis.

The nature reserve is north of Halle (Saale) . It provides a valuable semi-dry and dry grass on the 189.8-meter-high Blonsberg, which as an approximately 40-meter-high porphyry hill from the Halle porphyry complex rises, under protection. The lawns are often covered with bushes of dog rose , hawthorn and elderberry . The eastern slope of the Blonsberg is covered by a winter linden-rich sessile oak and hornbeam forest , which is joined by pine and locust trees to the north . Semi-arid grassland communities, which are designated as natural monuments , settle in clearings .

The semi-arid grasslands in the nature reserve are dominated by meadow oat communities. In lößbeeinflussten lower slope areas and settle Fiederzwenkenrasen . In the semi-dry grasslands partially settle rare plant species, including Nelkenschmielenhafer, Clustered bellflower , rock gold star , Ähriger loosestrife , Gray Skabiose , Haarpfriemengras , Spring Very price , Formerly prize , pulsatilla vulgaris , Valais fescue and winged Orchid . The orchid has its main distribution here in the eastern part of Germany.

The open land areas are the habitat of a species-rich insect fauna . Different species of grasshopper come here , including the spotted cadaver , red-bodied grasshopper and small heather grasshopper , ground beetle , including the short-domed ground beetle , butterflies and various wild bees . The reserve also offers birds as red and black kite , partridge , red-backed shrike , mandrel and Barred Warbler , Ortolan , gray and Goldammer a suitable habitat.

The nature reserve borders on the agricultural areas of Halle's arable land. In the northwest it borders on a county road .
