Lipinka ( German  Linde ) is a small town in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , which belongs to the Gmina Ełk ( rural municipality of Lyck ) in the powiat Ełcki ( Lyck district ).

Geographical location

The forest settlement Lipinka located in the southern eastern part of the Warmia and Mazury, nine kilometers southeast of the county seat Elk (Lyck) .

history

The Linde forestry department became part of the Lyck-Forst district in 1874. This was part of the county elk in Administrative district Gumbinnen (1905: Administrative district Allenstein ) in the Prussian province of East Prussia . Only six residents were registered in Linde in 1885 and 1905.

On January 1, 1929, Linde moved from the Lyck-Forst district to the Wischniewen district (1938 to 1945 district "Kölmersdorf", in Polish Wiśniowo Ełckie ), when the forest settlement was incorporated into the community rules (Polish Regiel ).

As a result of the war, Forsthaus Linde came to Poland in 1945 along with all of southern East Prussia and since then has borne the Polish name form "Lipinka". Today the settlement belongs to the Gmina Ełk (rural municipality Lyck ) in the powiat Ełcki , until 1998 the [Suwałki Voivodeship], since then it belongs to the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .

Religions

Until 1945, Forsthaus Linde was parish in the Evangelical Church of Ostrokollen (1938 to 1945 Scharfenrade , Polish Ostrykół ) in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union as well as in the Roman Catholic Church of St. Adalbert in Lyck in the Diocese of Warmia .

Today, on the Catholic side, Lipinka belongs to the church in Regiel (rules) , a branch church of the parish Regielnica (rules sit , 1938 to 1945 rules court) in the diocese of Ełk of the Roman Catholic Church in Poland . The Protestant church members stick to the parish in the town of Ełk , a branch parish of the parish in Pisz ( German  Johannisburg ) in the diocese of Masuria of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .
