Life

She has lived with her family in Sausenheim since 2005 .
career path
Ryzih has been studying psychology at the University of Koblenz-Landau in Landau since 2009 . In 2016 she graduated with a degree in psychology. Then she started her doctoral thesis.
Athletic career
Like her sister Nastja (now Anastasija Reiberger ), she was introduced to the pole vault through her family . But before she fully concentrated on the pole vault, she also ran the hurdles as a B-youth . Lisa Ryzih competed in her first pole vault when she was eleven and began special training when she was twelve.
The first international success she posted at the 2003 World Youth Championships in Sherbrooke , when she jumped 4.05 m to the title. The following year, she also won the Junior World Championships in Grosseto with an increase in her personal best to 4.30 m. The title defense in the U-18 area in 2005 in Marrakech was unsuccessful, with 4.05 m, she remained fifth. At the Junior World Championships in Beijing in 2006 she came in fourth place, which was disappointing for her, and with 4.00 m remained well below her best performance of 4.35 m from July 7, 2006 in Mannheim. In 2007 she confirmed this height, and in 2008 she improved again, this time to 4.50 m in a competition in Regensburg, where she had already jumped two centimeters higher in the hall in February 2008 in Donetsk . At the German Championships she jumped 4.40 m and was fifth, with the same height she made it onto the podium as third at the German Championships in 2009, in 2006 and 2007 she had started at the German Youth Championships and had won the title each time. By winning the U23 European Championship in 2009 , she also achieved her first victory at European level.
In 2010 she was able to improve her personal best both indoors and outdoors. In Karlsruhe on the last day of February at the German Indoor Championships, she managed to jump over 4.55 m, finishing third behind Carolin Hingst and Kristina Gadschiew . She increased her best outdoor performance in May 2010 in Sopot, Poland, to 4.60 m, only beaten by world champion Anna Rogowska at the same height .
She jumped the same height at the German Championships and thus secured the runner-up and at the same time qualification for the European Championships in Barcelona , where she won the bronze medal with her personal record of 4.65 m. In the following indoor season she won the title at the German Indoor Championships in Leipzig for the first time and improved her indoor performance to the same level.

At the Olympic Games in London in 2012 she was sixth with 4.45 m and eighth at the 2013 World Championships in Moscow . At the 2014 European Championships in Zurich , she narrowly missed a medal.
