The list of dioceses in Germany provides an overview of the dioceses and other areas of jurisdiction of episcopal ( episcopal ) constituted churches in the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany . This form of church constitution is common in the pre-Reformation churches , but not in the Protestant churches . The system of this list follows the list of Christian denominations . Dioceses with headquarters outside Germany are also accepted if their area of ​​jurisdiction extends to German territory.

Evangelical Church in Germany

The heads of some regional churches bear the title of regional bishop , others the title of superintendent . The Bremen Evangelical Church has no spiritual leader.

Methodist Church in Germany

New Apostolic Church
