Former power station with weir, upper ditch inlet, rifle system, upper ditch, underground ditch, remains of the power house with two turbines and power line masts | Lochmühlenweg (map) |
1894 (commissioning of the power plant) | Water supply through concrete pipes, from the Lochmühle, local and technical historical significance, ruinous, 1894. After the Lochmühle's mill operations were closed, its weir was used for the newly built Copitzer power station, 300 m downstream, and a pressure pipe was built up to it. The "moated castle" is now missing the roof, but the broken stone and stone architecture shows dignified late classicist forms - a sign of the architectural effort with which utility and industrial buildings were also treated and "refined" back then. In the remainder of the building are the remains of two Francis spiral turbines with 139 and 205 hp, which replaced the original free-jet turbines in 1922. The specialty of the plant is also that it was built from the outset as a power station and did not result from a converted mill. |

Leading to the church from the west and east , Alley made of cut linden trees (Tilia spec.) From the side gate on Dorfstrasse leading to the mourning hall.
- Other protected assets: Ground relief: the churchyard is on a higher ground level than the adjacent terrain to the south.
- ↑ Wauermühle Lohmen The complex consists of several building blocks, the silo tower with staircase, the actual mill building and the loading tract with bagging floors. The mill building shows the usual structure of a grain mill with a floor for the main transmission, grinding or roller mill floor, two tube floors, plan sifter floor and silo floor, the latter extending into the silo tower. The two tube sheets indicate that it is already a larger system. Smaller objects only have a tube sheet. On the first floor, or better said in the basement and basement, there is, among other things, the main transmission, the aspiration screw (aspiration = serves to ventilate the ground material and as a dedusting system for the mill) and two drive motors (one of the motors receives the power from the mill's own electric Plant). The floor of the roller mill shows an extremely impressive ensemble with 8 roller mills and a Sodermühle from Wendt (grinding machine for semolina, technical rarity). Three roller mills come from the Grosse company and were built around 1940 (including a crushing chair). There is also a double roller mill from the Grosse company, also around 1940. The 3 double roller mills from the Nagema company from 1954 (mostly MIAG models) appear even more striking. There is also a simple chair from the same company. The Nagema company (food and beverages) emerged from the Grosse company and probably also from the Dresden company MIAG. In the adjacent room of the loading tract there are three mixing machines, the containers of which extend over several floors. On the second tube sheet there are essential parts of the blower, a semolina cleaning machine, bran centrifuges, the aspiration filter cabinet and, next to it, in the stairwell, an almond brush machine (brushes grain after preliminary and main cleaning). On the plan sifter floor there are 3 short sifter from 1964. The silo floor in the area of the silo tower has two cleaning machines (pre-cleaning and main cleaning, company Grosse) and the filter cabinet for the main cleaning, also from Grosse (logo "GEGROLO"). Other parts of the cleaning system were installed in the stairwell. The transport of the ground material is ensured by elevators, chutes and a widely branched fan (pneumatic passage conveyor). The aspiration can also be found in all parts of the system. The predecessor complex of today's mill essentially consisted of two two-story buildings with a gable roof. These burned down in 1914. The current facility was built in its place as early as 1915. The date can be found on a metal plate on the bottom of the roller frame.
- ↑ The Wesenitz bridge in Lohmen-Mühlsdorf consists of sandstone ashlar masonry. The almost semicircular arch has a width of 5.1 m and a clear width of 16.64 m. With a total length of the structure of approx. 19.5 m, the span is approx. 17.5 m. The bridge has a paved roadway that is used as a single lane and is 3.5 m wide. There are no sidewalks. Due to the length of the bridge in the narrow Wesenitztal, the road climbs with an approx. 10% gradient on both sides and is partially supported by sandstone retaining walls averaging 3 to 4 m in the areas connecting to the bridge. The year of construction and the crossed axis swords are chiseled into the upstream curved keystone. The downstream side in the middle of the bridge has a peculiar shape. As a Latin cross, it rests on a baroque plinth, which is decorated with rococo ornaments. In the base there is a cartridge with a bead-shaped frame and an attached royal crown. The characters “Gem. Lohmen / Mühlsdorf ”on the crossbar of the cross show that it has recently been used to mark the boundaries of the fields. The original inscription is no longer legible.

- Ground floor: hall, large kitchen (originally no separation of food and feed kitchen, wall later), floor made of sandstone slabs, stable for 15 cows, octagonal sandstone supports with a simple square capital.
- Upper floor: Spacious hall, room height around 1.95 m. Attic and roof: Entire floor space, edge boards indicate u. a. for bulk storage of grain, on the village square side two little gable windows with sliding part, rafter roof, single standing chair, rafter spacing approx. 130 cm, single covering with spike (insert a flat wooden chip under the joint between two plain tile tiles). M. Hammer.
- ↑ Monument text: The Wagner monument, consisting of a figural bronze group of 4.2 m and a sandstone plinth with an outside staircase a good 8 m high, stands in Liebethaler Grund in front of a rugged rock backdrop not far from the former Lochmühle restaurant, in which Richard Wagner parts of his opera “ Lohengrin ”(1846) is said to have written. It is considered the largest Wagner monument ever and was inaugurated in 1933 on the occasion of the musician's 120th birthday. The bronze cast from 1928 (Adalbert Milde Company, Dresden) shows Wagner standing as a knight of the Grail in medieval garb, holding a bowl of flames ("Holy Fire") in his right hand, the left placed on a harp with pagan figures such as a winged lion's head and bulls' heads . The personified elements of his music are crouched close to his feet: a listening girl (the spherical), another female figure with a snake (the demonic) and one with a box (the lyrical), a youth with a sword (the tragic-dramatic) , another with a cornucopia (the Dionysian). The history of the monument begins as early as 1911/12, when Richard Guhr (1873–1956), Professor of Monumental Art at the Dresden Art Academy, made a plaster model of the group of figures on his own initiative and planned its realization in white marble for Wagner's 100th birthday for the Great Garden. This was not actually implemented, nor was the concept subsequently implemented in the Teplitz city park (reference point here: Wagner's Tannhäuser). Even after 1928, when the bronze was cast, there was no installation of the sculpture, whereby the controversial German national impetus of the work played a role. This changed in 1933. Sizzo Stief, a student of Guhr and who was financed by Guhr for the project, made the monumental sandstone base with writing panels on which the bronze sculpture was placed. While the German national was only stylistically inferred from the latter through the recourse to forms of old German art (also found in other sculptures from the imperial period), it was based on the base with the Lohengrin quote "THE KNIGHT'S DRUM SHOULD NOT HAVE DOUBTS" and above Especially evident in the eulogy of the music professor Eugen Schmitz at the opening in the presence of regional party celebrities: What applied to King Heinrich's Germany (defense against external enemies) also applies to Adolf Hitler's. The following was quoted from “Lohengrin”: “Hordes will never travel victoriously to Germany in the most distant days / from the East”. Thus, this Wagner monument is not only romantic and characterizing the landscape and as an example of imperial symbol sculpture of artistic value, but also an outstanding example of political iconography. Finkler, LfD / 2014.
