The list of the stumbling blocks in Wetzlar results by artist Gunter Demnig laid stumbling blocks in the district town of Wetzlar in the Lahn-Dill-Kreis in Hesse , which recall the fate of the people who were murdered during the Nazi deported, expelled or driven to suicide . In the urban area of Wetzlar, six stumbling blocks have been laid at five laying locations in a previous laying campaign. 19 more stumbling blocks were laid in the old town of Wetzlar on September 8, 2015. She was arrested on June 11, 1943 by the Gestapo and the police and deported to Frankfurt am Main. In October 1943 she was deported to the Auschwitz extermination camp and murdered in September 1944. In the death notice to her husband Friedrich Wollmann, the date of death was “11. September 1944 at 10 40 minutes ”. |

On May 26, 1943, she was summoned "for discussion" by the Frankfurt am Main Gestapo and arrested. After six months in Gestapo detention, she was deported to the Auschwitz extermination camp and murdered. In the death notice to her husband Wilhelm Best, it was said that she had "died of acute gastrointestinal catarrh on January 21, 1944". |
