List of wooden churches in southern Poland
The list of wooden churches in southern Poland includes historically valuable and architecturally interesting wooden churches in the Lesser Poland , Subcarpathian , Opole and Silesia voivodeships . It is an area that partly belonged to historical Lesser Poland . The oldest church dates from the 14th century. The buildings are still in their original condition and are the second oldest of their kind after the Norwegian stave churches. The architectural style ranges from Gothic to Renaissance to Baroque .
Six wooden churches in southern Lesser Poland were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List on July 3, 2003 . Ten years later, eight buildings of the Eastern Churches in Malopolska and Subcarpathian with eight churches in Ukraine were added to the World Heritage List on June 21, 2013.
There are other listed wooden churches in the Greater Poland Voivodeship .
