Martín Gastón Demichelis (born December 20, 1980 in Justiniano Posse ) is a former Argentine football player and current coach . He has been the coach of the FC Bayern Munich U19 team since the 2019/20 season .

Career

Demichelis began his football career at Complejo Deportivo and moved in 1995 to Club Renato Cesarini Rosario , for which he was active for three seasons. He became a professional footballer when he moved to Argentina's top club River Plate Buenos Aires in 1998 and played for them until 2003. With River Plate Demichelis won the national championship in 2002 and 2003 .

FC Bayern

In 2003, FC Bayern Munich secured the Argentine's services for around 4.5 million euros.
