Metrosquash US Open 2010

The Metro Squash US Open in 2010 found from September 27 to October 2, 2010 in Chicago , Illinois , in the United States instead. The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2010/11 and endowed with $ 80,000. The women's squash tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2010/11 and endowed with 36,000 US dollars.

The defending champion was Amr Shabana , who did not run again this year. In the final Wael El Hindi met Laurens Jan Anjema , whom he defeated 11: 8, 5:11, 11: 7 and 11: 7. This was El Hindi's first overall victory at the US Open. Vanessa Atkinson won the women’s finals, defeating Amanda Sobhy 11: 7, 11: 7 and 11: 8 in the final .

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 32 players, eight of which were reserved for qualifiers. The 16 best players were seeded. For women, the field of participants consisted of 16 players with four places for qualifiers. The best eight players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Christopher Gordon and Olivia Blatchford each a spot in the main draw.
