US Open 2007 (Squash)

The 2007 US Open took place from September 27 to October 4, 2007 in New York City , United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2007/08 and belonged to the Super Series Platinum category .

The defending champion was Grégory Gaultier , who reached the quarter-finals that year. There he was defeated by James Willstrop , who was defeated by Nick Matthew in the final . Matthew won the final 11-7, 11-4 and 11-7.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 32 players, eight of which were reserved for qualifiers. The 16 best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Gilly Lane a spot in the main draw. The prize money was $ 120,000.
