The Delaware Investments US Open 2015 took place October 8-17, 2015 at Drexel University in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania , in the United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2015/16 and belonged to the PSA World Series category . The women's squash tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2015/16 and belonged to the WSA World Series category .

The defending champions were Mohamed Elshorbagy for the men, who defeated Amr Shabana 3-1 last year , and Nicol David for the women, who defeated Nour El Sherbini in five sets. In the men's final , Grégory Gaultier won the final against Omar Mosaad 11: 6, 11: 3 and 11: 5. In the women's finals , Laura Massaro beat Nour El Tayeb 11: 6, 9:11, 6:11, 11: 8 and 11: 7.

The fields of participants in the men's and women's competitions each consisted of 32 players, eight of which were starting places for qualifiers. Per Wildcard received Sabrina Sobhy and Christopher Gordon a starting place in the respective main field.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize money for the men and women was US $ 150,000 each.
