NGC 4203 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type I / SB0 in the constellation Coma Berenices the northern sky . It is estimated to be 49 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 50,000 light-years across. Together with 18 other galaxies, it forms the NGC 4274 group ( LGG 279 ).
In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4227 and NGC 4229 .

The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on March 20, 1787 .
