NGC 5241 is a 14.2 likes bright spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sab in the constellation Virgo to the ecliptic . It is an estimated 286 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 90,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 5232 and IC 899 .
The object was discovered by Lewis A. Swift on March 29, 1886 .
