NGC 5232 is a 13.6 likes bright lenticular Blazar from Hubble type S0 / a in the constellation Virgo to the ecliptic . It is an estimated 305 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 135,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 5241 and IC 899 .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on May 30, 1864 .
