NGC 5921 is a 10.7 mag bright barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Snake and 68 million light years from the Milky Way.
It was discovered on May 1, 1786 by Wilhelm Herschel with an 18.7-inch reflector telescope, who described it as "cB, cL, iR, bM".
