NGC 5941 is a 13.9 likes bright elliptical galaxy from the Hubble type E2 in the constellation snake . It is one of the three controversial members of the Hickson Compact Group 76 in the numbering of modern astronomy and was discovered by Lewis A. Swift on April 19, 1887 .
