NGC 5959 is a 14.3 likes bright elliptical galaxy from the Hubble type E2 in the constellation Libra on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 321 million light years from the Milky Way and about 190,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Ormond Stone on June 26, 1886 .
