The Okres Komárno is an administrative area in the south of Slovakia with 107,920 inhabitants (2004, 2001 there were 108,556, of which 30,079 (27.7%) Slovak, 74,976 (69.1%) Hungarian) and an area of 1,100 square kilometers.

Historically, the district is mostly in the former Komorn County (west), a smaller part in the east around the town of Bátorove Kosihy belongs to the former Gran County (see also the list of historical counties of Hungary ).
