Jorge Marco de Oliveira Moraes , called Jorge , (born March 28, 1996 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian football player . The left foot is mainly used as a left defender .

Career

Jorge started his career in the youth department of Flamengo Rio de Janeiro . In 2014, the player also made the leap into the professional squad. On March 16, he played in the state championship of Rio de Janeiro against Bangu AC from the start. During the season he sat on the bench several times, but did not make any further appearances in the club's professional squad. Jorge then came to more frequent assignments in the 2015 season. A total of one in the national championship, three in the Copa do Brasil and 22 in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A 2015 . The player played his first Série A game on July 2 against Joinville EC . He scored his first professional goal that year in the third round of the Copa do Brasil on July 16 against the Náutico Capibaribe . In the game he scored in the 51st minute to make it 1-0 up (it was 2-0). Jorge made his debut at international club level in Copa Sudamericana 2016 . He was in the starting line-up against Figueirense FC on September 1, 2016 and scored the goal to make it 2-1 in the 28th minute (it was 3-1).

In February 2017 Jorge moved to AS Monaco . Jorge made his debut for Monaco on March 1, 2017 against Olympique Marseille in the cup competition . Jorge played his first game in Ligue 1 in the 2016/17 season on May 20, 2016 against Stade Rennes . In the game he scored his first league goal in the 78th minute after submission by Djibril Sidibé . Jorge played for Monaco for the first time on the European stage on September 13, 2017. In the UEFA Champions League they played in Group G in the 2017/18 season on RB Leipzig .

On August 31, 2018 it was announced that Jorge would be loaned to FC Porto for one year . The contract contained a purchase option. Porto did not take the purchase option . In March 2019 Jorge was loaned to FC Santos . The loan was limited to the end of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A 2019 .
