At the XIX. At the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City , seven sports shooting competitions were held. The venue was the Vicente Suárez shooting range in Campo Militar 1 . On the program was the skeet, an additional clay pigeon discipline. For the first time ever, women and men competed in Olympic shooting competitions.
