Proletarskoje ( Russian Пролетарское , German  Ganderkehmen , Lithuanian Gandrakiemiai ) is a place in the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Gusev in Gusevsky District .

Geographical location

Proletarskoje is ten kilometers southwest of the city of Gussew (Gumbinnen) not far from a branch line (27K-056) from Gussew via Kostino (Stobricken / Krammsdorf) to Mayakovskoye (Nemmersdorf) . There is no train connection.

history

The small village from the end of the 16th century was incorporated into the newly established district of Nemmersdorf in 1874 (the place is now called in Russian: Mayakowskoje). It existed until 1945 and belonged to the Gumbinnen district in the Gumbinnen administrative district of the Prussian province of East Prussia .

The rural community of Ganderkehmen had 37 inhabitants in 1910. On September 30, 1928, the community gave up its independence and merged with the rural community Kiaulkehmen and the manor district Heinrichsdorf (Russian: Chimkino, no longer existing) to form the new rural community Kiaulkehmen . This was renamed Jungort in 1935.

As a result of the Second World War, Jungort and Ganderkehmen, located in northern East Prussia , came to the Soviet Union and in 1950 received the Russian name "Dunajewka". The place was assigned to the village soviet Mayakovsky selski Sowet in Gusew Rajon . At a not exactly known point in time between 1975 and 1988, the place, which was now limited to the former Ganderkehmen, was renamed Proletarski. In 1997 the spelling of the place name was changed to Proletarskoye. From 2008 to 2013 Proletarskoye belonged to the rural municipality Mayakovskoye selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Gusew.

Ganderkehmen, with its almost exclusively Protestant population, was parish before 1945 in the parish of the Nemmersdorf church (the place is now called in Russian: Mayakowskoje) and thus belonged to the Gumbinnen parish in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Today Proletarskoje is located in the catchment area of ​​the newly established Evangelical Lutheran congregation of the Salzburg Church in Gussew (Gumbinnen) within the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .
