Michurinskoje ( Russian Мичуринское , German  Drücklershöfchen ) is a small town in the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad in Gussew Rajon . The place belongs to the municipal self-government unit city district Gusew . Today, however, the Drücklershöfen location is in the area of the city of Gussew , while the Michurinskoje location is about 2.5 km to the southeast.

Geographical location

Michurinskoje is located on the west bank of the Rominte (Russian: Krasnaja), four kilometers southeast of the city center of Gussew (Gumbinnen) on the Russian regional road 27A-011 , which connects Gussew with the Polish Gołdap (Goldap) and from which a side road (27K-302 ) branches off in a south-westerly direction. The next train station is Gusew on the Kaliningrad – Nesterow line (Königsberg – Stallupönen / Ebenrode) , a section of the Prussian Eastern Railway , for onward travel to Moscow .

history

The former Drücklershöfchen , which before 1945 actually only consisted of a large (manor) farm, was only a place to live in the rural community of Kulligkehmen (1938 to 1946: Ohldorf (Ostpr.), Today Russian: Lipowo) in German times . The village thus belonged to the Kulligkehmen district (1939 to 1945: "Ohldorf district") in the Gumbinnen district and Gumbinnen district in the Prussian province of East Prussia . In 1905 the village had 38 inhabitants.

After Drücklershöfchen with the mother community Kulligkehmen resp. Ohldorf was assigned to the Soviet Union in 1945 as a result of the war , the place was given the Russian name Michurinskoje in 1947 and was at the same time classified in the village soviet Lipowski selski sovet in Gusew Rajon . Already on a map from 1972 the place is not shown in the location Drücklershöfchen, but in its current location. The local situation Drücklershöfchen belonged in the meantime to the urban area of Gussew . From 2008 to 2013 Michurinskoje belonged to the urban municipality Gusewskoje gorodskoje posselenije and since 2013 to the urban district Gusew.

church

Before 1945, Drücklershöfchen with its Protestant population was ecclesiastically oriented towards Gumbinnen , whereby the inhabitants of the Reformed tradition belonged to the parish of the New Town Church and the - numerically fewer - Lutheran residents belonged to the Old Town Church . Both churches were part of the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Today Michurinskoje is located in the catchment area of the newly established Evangelical Lutheran congregation of the Salzburg Church in Gussew , which is incorporated into the Kaliningrad (Königsberg) provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .
