Jasnoje Pole ( Russian Ясное Поле , German Krausenwalde ) is a place in Gussew Rajon in the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad . He belongs to the municipal self-government unit of the Gusew district . In addition to the former Krausenwalde, Jasnoje Pole took over other former German locations in the area in the course of its existence. At the moment, the place apparently only consists of two building complexes in the former locations of Antbrakupönen / Kahlheim and Tzullkinnen / Steffenshöfchen.
Geographical location
Jasnoye Pole is ten kilometers north of the city of Gussew (Gumbinnen) on the regional road 27A-033 (ex A198 ). The next train station is Gussew on the Kaliningrad – Chernyshevskoye railway line of the former Prussian Eastern Railway to continue to Moscow .
history
In 1947 the former German town of Krausenwalde was renamed Jasnoje Pole. Before 1976, the places Suworowo (German Packallnischken / Bergendorf) and Serpuchowo (German Antbrakupönen / Kahlheim, Tzullkinehlen, Tzullkinnen / Steffenshöfchen) were connected to Jasnoje Pole. The focus of the building was apparently on the way from Antbrakupönen to Tzullkinehlen. In the mid-1980s there were around 60 people living in Jasnoe Pole, 17 people in 2002 and 3 people in 2010.
The place Jasnoe Pole belonged since 1947 to the village soviet Maiski selski Sowet , from 2008 to 2013 to the rural municipality Kubanowskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the municipal self-government unit urban district Gusew .
Krausenwalde
The village of Krausenwalde was first mentioned in 1624. From 1874 to 1928 was part of the District Packallnischken in district Gumbinnen the Prussian province of East Prussia . In 1910 the place had 130 inhabitants.
On September 30, 1928, the Krausenwalde manor district lost its independence and was incorporated into the rural community of Antbrakupönen (1938 to 1945: Kahlheim). Together with the whole of northern East Prussia , the village was assigned to the Soviet Union in 1945 .
Packallnischken (Bergendorf)
The small village formerly called Packallnischken was first mentioned in a document in 1564. On March 18, 1874, it became Amtsdorf and thus gave its name to a newly established administrative district that existed until 1945 and belonged to the Gumbinnen district in the Gumbinnen administrative district of the Prussian province of East Prussia .
In 1910 there were 186 inhabitants registered in Packallnischken. Their number rose to 226 by 1933 and totaled 201 in 1939.
For political and ideological reasons, Packallnischken was renamed "Bergendorf (Ostpr.)" On June 3rd - officially confirmed on July 16th - in 1938. In 1945 the village came to the Soviet Union in the wake of the war with northern East Prussia .

On January 1, 1945 the district of Bergendorf consisted of the following communities: Bergendorf, Berstenau, Chorbuden, Kahlheim, Kutten and Steffensfelde.

Before 1945 the population of the two villages Packallnischken (Bergendorf) and Krausenwalde was almost without exception Protestant . They belonged to the parish of the Niebudszen church (the place was called between 1936 and 1938: Niebudschen, 1938 to 1946: Herzogskirch, today in Russian: Krasnogorskoje) in the parish of Pillkallen (Schloßberg) in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Today Jasnoje Pole is located in the catchment area of the newly established Evangelical Lutheran parish of the Salzburg Church in Gussew . It is the parish seat and belongs to the Kaliningrad (Königsberg) provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .
