Rasiguères ( Occitan : Cassanhas ) is a place and a municipality in the south of France with 152 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in what is now the Pyrénées-Orientales department in the Occitania region . The municipality belongs to the Prades arrondissement and the canton of La Vallée de l'Agly (until 2015: canton of Latour-de-France ). The inhabitants are called Rasiguèrois .

location

Rasiguères is located about 23 kilometers west-northwest of Perpignan in the Fenouillèdes . The Agly flows through the south of the parish. Rasiguères is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Maury in the north, Planèzes in the east, Cassagnes in the south and south-east, Caramany in the south-west, Lansac in the west and Lesquerde in the north-west.

The wine-growing regions of Rivesaltes and Côtes du Roussillon touch the municipality.
