Corneilla-la-Rivière ( Catalan: Cornellà de la Ribera ) is a French commune in the department of Pyrenees-Orientales in the region Occitania . The municipality has an area of ​​11.9 km² and has 1,991 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). Corneilla-la-Rivière belongs to the Prades arrondissement and is part of the canton of La Vallée de la Têt (until 2015: canton of Millas ). The inhabitants are called Corneillanais (es) .

Corneilla-la-Rivière is bounded to the south by the river Têt and lies in the Ribéral region . The Côtes du Roussillon-Villages wine-growing region extends into the municipality .
