Molitg-les-Bains ( Molig in Catalan ) is a French commune with 233 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Pyrénées-Orientales department of the Occitania region . It belongs to the Prades arrondissement and the canton of Les Pyrénées catalanes .

The municipality is located in the eastern Pyrenees , in the Conflent countryside , around 50 kilometers west of Perpignan and five kilometers northwest of Prades . It is part of the Pyrénées Catalanes Regional Natural Park . Neighboring municipalities to Molitg-les-Bains are:

Sournia in the north
Eus in the northeast,
Catllar in the southeast
Ria-Sirach in the south,
Campôme to the west and
Mosset in the northwest.

The municipality is flanked on its southern border by the Castellane river , which flows into the Têt in the neighboring municipality of Catllar . There is a thermal center by the river, the place itself is in a raised position a good hundred meters above the river level.

The municipal area is supplied by the D14 département road, which leads from Catllar to Mosset and over the Col de Jau to the neighboring Aude department . At Prades you can reach the national road 116 (Perpignan - Spanish border at Bourg-Madame ), and there is also a connection to the Perpignan – Villefranche-de-Conflent railway line (station: Gare de Prades - Molitg-les-Bains ).
