Rehhof is a district of the city of Bad Windsheim in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Middle Franconia .

geography

Immediately northeast of the wasteland, the Nesselbach rises in a pond , a left tributary of the Aisch . The place is located in the valley, in the northwest of the Kühnberg ( 432  m above sea level ) rises in the Kalkofen forest , about 0.5 km south in the Güterwald of the Spielberg ( 420  m above sea level ), on which the remains of a former hilltop castle are located are located.

The district road NEA 6 leads to Obernesselbach (3.2 km east) or to state road 2253 (1.4 km west), which runs to Deutenheim (1.8 km north) or to Rüdisbronn (1 km south). An agricultural traffic route leads to Dutzenthal (1.1 km north).

history

First mentioned by name, the place in a document of the year 1158, in which it was Emperor Barbarossa the monastery Münchaurach and his possessions, including Rehhof belonged, assured its protection. The place was originally called "Rehbach" or "Rechbach" and was larger.

At the end of the 18th century, Rehhof belonged to Rüdisbronn . The Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste office Ipsheim was the landlord of the two half farms . Under the Prussian administration (1792-1806) of the Principality of Bayreuth, the two properties were given house numbers 61 and 62 in the town of Rüdisbronn.

As part of the community edict, Rehhof was assigned to the Kaubenheim tax district formed in 1811 . It also belonged to the rural community of Kaubenheim formed in 1817 . With the second community edict (1818) it was moved to Rüdisbronn. On July 1, 1972, Rehhof was incorporated into Bad Windsheim as part of the regional reform .
