Reute is a village that has been part of the Mittelbiberach municipality since 1974 . It is on the Rotbach .

history

Reute was first mentioned in a document in 1351. In 1611 a large part of the population was killed by the plague . From 1804 to 1973, Reute was its own mayor's workshop , which until 1951 also included Rindenmoos. After the Second World War, Rindenmoos applied to the District Office in Biberach to move from Reute to Rißegg. The then municipal council of Reute spoke out in favor of a severance payment, according to which Rindenmoos had to deliver 20 solid cubic meters of logs to the municipality of Reute every year for 20 years.

On January 1, 1974, Reute was incorporated into Mittelbiberach.
