Rammetshofen is a part of the municipality Oberteuringen in the Lake Constance district ( Baden-Württemberg ).

Rammetshofen is located on the Rotach , south of Oberteuringen, about 7.5 kilometers north of Lake Constance .
history
In 1464, Jörg Graf zu Werdenberg and Heiligenberg enfeoffed the Ravensburger citizen Ytelhans Huntpis with the Ramrachshof , the court of Rammetshofen. After his death in 1538 the farm and estate are again mentioned in a document.
In the early 19th century, Rammetshofen had 58 residents who were expressly referred to as Catholic in the description of the Tettnang District Office from 1838.

The RSC Rammetshofen also appears at events outside of Rammetshofen with its giant bicycles, a six-person and an eight-person tandem, built in 1978. He has been taking part in German tandem meetings since 1990. The 5th German tandem meeting took place in 2004 in Rammetshofen. The Dappschauferle the RSC is a seaworthy eight tandem with Rah awnings and paddle-wheel drive, which because of its sail area of 36 m² an authorization corresponding to the Lake Constance Shipping Regulations for Lake Constance has (approval FN-57888 ).
Pilgrimages
The Upper Swabian Way of St. James leads through the village from Ulm to Constance .
