The Rounder Girls were a company founded in 1993 by Austrian Soul / Jazz / Pop - Vocal - Trio , consisting of Christine "Tini" Kainrath , Kim Cooper and Lynne Kieran († 2013). After the sudden death of Lynne Kieran in 2013, the formation broke up.
The group celebrated the greatest musical success as Austria's representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 in Stockholm ( Sweden ). With the song All to You they made it into the finals and reached 14th place out of 24 places.
Band history
For two decades, their line-up consisted of the soul, blues & gospel singers Tini Kainrath from Vienna , Kim Cooper from New York and Lynne Kieran from London , who died in 2013 , who performed both with piano accompaniment and with a band. At the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 they took 14th place for Austria with the title All to You . In 2009 they performed with the band Global Kryner , which represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 .
