In Leipzig, a gang of kidnappers of young people roams the streets. They raid a shop in the presence of Detective Superintendent Alvarez. The gang uses the deaf Robert as a decoy. During the chase that followed, investigators Alvarez and Maybach failed to capture the band members, and the SOKO became a mockery of the city. Chief Detective Trautzschke is angry with Miguel, but then he discovers a well-known watch while investigating a robbery in a villa.

The past catches up with Chief Detective Trautzschke: Werner Pankutz, former police officer, religious fanatic and murderer, has escaped from the prison.
