Anne Kanis

Anne Kanis (* 1979 in East Berlin as Anne Richter ) is a German actress and author .

Life

Anne Kanis was born as Anne Richter in East Berlin in 1979 . She is the daughter of the stage actress Elisabeth Richter-Kubbutat and the pantomime Günter Richter, who was active in the pantomime ensemble of the Deutsches Theater Berlin until 1991. Anne Kanis was strongly influenced by her artistic parents. In 1987 she was on stage with her brothers (today's jazz musicians Laurids Richter and Philipp Richter) and the pantomime ensemble as part of Berlin's 750th anniversary. In 1992 she took on the childish lead role in the radio play Emma , based on the children's book of the same name by Ursula Fuchs, at DS Kultur Hörfunk .

At the age of 16, she stood in front of a camera for the first time, in the crime series Max Wolkenstein . Since the mid-1990s, she then worked regularly as an actress and speaker for film and radio. She gained fame primarily through her numerous television roles. She took on recurring series roles, episode roles and guest roles. Kanis was often used in crime series and crime films on German television .

In 2000 she played the leading role of Emma Kirsch in the TV drama Zerbrechliche Zeugin by the Dutch director Ben Verbong , in which she played a slightly disabled girl from Berlin.

From 2000 to 2001 she was seen in a recurring episode role in several episodes of the ZDF series Unser Charly . She played Lisbeth Kranz, the friend of the series character Andrea ( Farina Jansen ). In 2004 she appeared in the ZDF Bella Block crime series . She played Milena Saamann, a waitress in a Hamburg luxury hotel, who is raped by her boss, the hotel manager . In 2015 her first novel Nothing but a Garden was published by Metrolit Verlag.

Anne Kanis lives in Berlin.
