The eighteenth season of the German crime series SOKO Leipzig comprises 22 episodes and celebrated its premiere on September 14, 2018 on ZDF. The final was broadcast on February 22, 2019. All episodes were published in the ZDFmediathek one week before the TV broadcast .
The season's episodes are first broadcast on Fridays at 9:15 p.m. and in some cases at 9:35 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.
As in previous seasons, three full- length episodes (90 minutes instead of the usual 45 minutes of an episode) were produced with The Bird Girl , Crash and My Child .
