Friedrichshof belongs to the village of Hohenwulsch and is a district of the town of Bismark (Altmark) in the Stendal district in Saxony-Anhalt (Germany).

history

The Vorwerk Friedrichshof stands on the site of the former village of Schmoor. In 1788, a Vorwerk Schmorre is called on the spot . Schmoor will have been founded after the year 800. In 1238, a place called Ossenmor was mentioned on the spot . In 1841 there are two outworks and a desert field with the ruins of a church and a village.

The Vorwerk Friedrichshof originally belonged to the Hohenwulsch manor , which later became the Hohenwulsch estate district, and was owned by the von Levetzow family . In 1871 there were 12 residents in the Friedrichshof suburb and 22 in the Schmoor colony.

On September 30, 1928, the Vorwerk came to the rural community of Hohenwulsch as a separate district when the estate district Hohenwulsch with the rural communities Hohenwulsch and Friedrichsfleiß were merged to form the rural community Hohenwulsch.

Since Hohenwulsch was incorporated into the town of Bismark (Altmark) on January 1, 2010, the Friedrichshof district has been part of the newly formed town of Hohenwulsch and the town of Bismark (Altmark). The Friedrichshof (Schmoor) district is mentioned in the current district directory .
