Sollies-Toucas is a French municipality with 5719 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Var department in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the canton of Solliès-Pont in the arrondissement of Toulon .


Solliès-Toucas is located between Solliès-Pont and Belgentier , the Gapeau flows through the village and flows into the Mediterranean at Hyères .


Solliès-Toucas was part of the former municipality of Solliès , which in 1799 was divided into the municipalities of Solliès-Ville , Solliès-Pont , Solliès-Toucas and Solliès-Farlède .


Solliès-Toucas is a typical Varois town in the Gapeautal, which has preserved many old houses made of beautiful stones. Noteworthy are the vaulted passages and arches that lead into backyards.
