The Spielothek-Cup 1986 was the first handball competition and was held from February 7th to 9th, 1986 in Hameln , Lower Saxony , as well as the East Westphalian cities of Minden and Lübbecke in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The TuS Nettelstedt won the tournament due to a better goal difference over the same points VfL Hameln . In the last game, the club prevailed 30:25 (15: 9) in the Mühlenkreis derby against TSV GWD Minden .
