The Spielothek-Cup 2009 was the 24th edition of the handball competition and was held on August 21st and 22nd, 2009 in the East Westphalian cities of Lübbecke and Minden in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The VfL Gummersbach prevailed in the final with 30:26 (17:12) gates against TuS N-Lübbecke through, winning his second overall title. GWD Minden secured third place with 30:20 (15: 7) against HSG Düsseldorf in the game for third place. Mindens Aljoscha Schmidt was the top scorer with 21 goals.

The prize money was 4,500  euros . Of this, 2,100 euros went to the winner VfL Gummersbach.
