The Spielothek-Cup 2008 was the 23rd edition of the handball competition and was held on August 15th and 16th, 2008 in the East Westphalian cities of Minden and Lübbecke in North Rhine-Westphalia .

GWD Minden prevailed in the final with 27:26 (14:13) goals in the Mühlenkreis derby against TuS N-Lübbecke and won his fourth title. Third place went to Eintracht Hildesheim with 41:33 (21:17) against the Swedish representative Ystads IF HF . The top scorer was Hildesheim's Michael Hoffmann with 20 goals.

The prize money was 4,500  euros . Of this, 2,100 euros went to the winner GWD Minden.

It was played with four teams in the knockout system with two semi-finals, the game for third place and the final. The playing time was 2 × 30 minutes.
