The 1992 Spielothek-Cup was the seventh handball competition and was held on August 28 and 29, 1992 in the East Westphalian cities of Minden and Lübbecke in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The VfL Fred Beck sat down in the final 27:26 (21:21; 10:11) to seven meters subjecting to the SC Magdeburg by and won after winning in the previous year a total of the second track. Third place was shared by TSV GWD Minden with TuS Nettelstedt . After a 17:17 (10: 7) after regular playing time, a seven-meter throw followed, which was not over even after 18 shooters. Thereupon the Mühlenkreis derby was canceled by the organizer at the score of 24:24 and counted as a draw. Nettelstedts Oleg Gagin was the top scorer with eleven goals. Even Zbigniew Tłuczyński from VfL Fredenbeck scored eleven goals, Gagin had to have but more field goals.

The prize money was 10,000  DM . 4,000 DM of this went to the winner VfL Fredenbeck.

It was played with four teams in the knockout system with two semi-finals, the game for third place and the final. The playing time was 2 × 30 minutes. In the event of a tie after the end of normal playing time, there was a seven-meter throw.
