The Spielothek-Cup 2005 was the 20th edition of the handball competition and was held on August 19th and 20th, 2005 in the East Westphalian cities of Minden and Lübbecke in North Rhine-Westphalia . The TV Großwallstadt prevailed in the final with 30:20 (15: 8) gates in the mill district derby against GWD Minden-Hannover through and won his fifth title overall. HSG Düsseldorf secured third place with 25:24 (13:11) against TuS Spenge . Scorer was Stephan Just GWD Minden-Hannover with 14 goals. Also Stian Tønnesen from TuS N-Lübbecke scored 14 goals, just had to have but more field goals.

mode

It was played with four teams in the knockout system with two semi-finals, the game for third place and the final. The playing time was 2 × 30 minutes. In the event of a tie after the end of normal playing time, there would have been an extension of 2 × 5 minutes. In the event of a tie after the extension has expired, a seven-meter throw.
