The Spielothek-Cup 2004 was the 19th edition of the handball competition and was held on August 20th and 21st, 2004 in the East Westphalian cities of Lübbecke and Minden in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The VfL Gummersbach prevailed in the final with 35:28 (21:13) gates against TuS N-Lübbecke through and won his first title. GWD Minden-Hannover secured third place with 34:25 (17:15) against the Swiss representative Grasshopper Club Zurich . The top scorer was Gummersbach's Michael Spatz with 17 goals.

It was played with four teams in the knockout system with two semi-finals, the game for third place and the final. The playing time was 2 × 30 minutes. In the event of a tie after the end of normal playing time, there would have been an extension of 2 × 5 minutes. In the event of a tie after the extension has expired, a seven-meter throw.
