The Spielothek-Cup 2015 was the 28th edition of the handball competition and was held on August 7th and 8th, 2015 in the East Westphalian cities of Lübbecke and Minden in North Rhine-Westphalia .

GWD Minden prevailed in the final with 33:28 (17:13) goals against TBV Lemgo and won his overall fifth title. Third place went to TuS N-Lübbecke with 25:21 (13: 8) against HSG Nordhorn-Lingen . Hildesheim's Lothar von Hermanni was the top scorer with 19 goals.

The prize money was 6,000  euros . 2,000 euros of this went to the winner GWD Minden.

Preliminary round

Evaluation criteria

In the group stage, the playing time was 1 × 30 minutes. There were two groups with three participants each. Within the groups, each team played against every other team, i.e. three games per group. The winner of each match received two points, the loser none, and in the event of a tie everyone received one point. The teams were placed in the groups in the following order:

  1. Number of points;
  2. Goal difference ;
  3. Number of goals scored;
  4. higher number of points in direct encounters between teams with equal points;
  5. better goal difference in direct encounters between teams with the same points;
  6. higher number of goals in direct encounters between teams with equal points;
  7. the lot.

The first in the group qualified for the final, the second for the game for 3rd place and the third for the game for fifth place.
