The Spielothek-Cup 2006 was the 21st staging of the handball competition and was staged on 11th and 12th August 2006 in the East Westphalian cities of Minden and Lübbecke in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The TV Großwallstadt prevailed in the final with 31:26 (16:13) gates in the mill district derby against GWD Minden through and won his sixth title overall. Third place went to Eintracht Hildesheim with 27:21 (14:11) against HSG Düsseldorf . The top scorer was Mindens Stephan Just with 21 goals, who was able to defend his title from the previous year .

Prize money

The prize money was 4,500  euros . Of this, 2,100 euros went to the winner TuS N-Lübbecke.

It was played with four teams in the knockout system with two semi-finals, the game for third place and the final. The playing time was 2 × 30 minutes.
