Swiss Ice Hockey Cup 2016/17 / qualification

Teams from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd league of the Swiss Regio League were allowed to qualify for the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup 2016/17 . Three teams from each regional group could qualify. In addition, the Swiss amateur champions of the 2015/16 season qualified for the Hockey Cup.

Eastern Switzerland region

A total of 36 teams from the Eastern Switzerland region took part. The current teams of the 1st and 2nd league as well as the four reigning regional champions of the 3rd league played for the three starting places. The teams marked in bold have qualified for the main competition.
