Tamara Pangelova

Tamara Pangelova ( Russian Тамара Пангелова , English transcription Tamara Pangelova, née Дунайская - Dunaiskaja - Dunayskaya ; born August 22, 1943 in Poltava ) is a former Soviet medium and long-distance runner .

Life

In 1971 she won bronze over 1500 m at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Sofia .

The following year followed over the same distance gold at the European Indoor Championships in Grenoble and a seventh place at the Olympic Games in Munich .

At the European Athletics Championships in 1974 she was fifth over 1500 m and eighth over 3000 m , at the European Indoor Championships in 1975 in Katowice fourth over 1500 m.

In 1970 she became the Soviet champion over 800 m , in 1967 and 1971 over 1500 m. In 1972 she won the national title over 1500 m in the hall.
