Gabriella Dorio

Gabriella Dorio (born June 27, 1957 in Veggiano , Italy ) is a former Italian athlete and Olympic champion .

At the XXII. At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow she could not win any medals. Over 800 meters she took eighth place and over 1500 meters she came fourth.

Gabriella Dorio won the bronze medal over 1500 meters at the European Championships in 1982 and at the XXIII. At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles , she won the gold medal in the 1,500-meter run ahead of the Romanians Doina Melinte (silver) and Maricica Puică (bronze).
