Tonka Petrova
Tonka Petrowa ( Bulgarian Тонка Петрова , English transcription Tonka Petrova ; born February 1, 1947 in Scheljasowo , Kameno ) is a former Bulgarian middle-distance runner .
At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, she was eliminated over 1500 m in the preliminary run.
In 1973 she won over 1500 m silver at the European Indoor Athletics Championships in Rotterdam and bronze at the Universiade . At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1974 in Gothenburg she won over the same distance.
She was Bulgarian champion over 800 m three times (1969–1971) and once in cross country (1972). In 1973 she won the national 800 m title indoors.
