Tappenbeck is a municipality in the Gifhorn district in Lower Saxony . The municipality of Tappenbeck is a member municipality of the combined municipality of Boldecker Land .

geography

Tappenbeck lies between the Südheide and Drömling nature parks . To the east of the village, the Vorsfelder Werder begins at the valley of the Kleine Aller .

history

The community was first mentioned in a document in 1495. The original village shape was that of a Wendish round . According to a settlement register around 1850, there were 13 farms at that time.
