Tiago Martins (referee)

Tiago Bruno Lopes Martins (born May 29, 1980 in Oeiras ) is a Portuguese football referee .

Martins has been leading games in the Portuguese Segunda Liga since the 2013/14 season and in the Primeira Liga since the 2014/15 season .

Tiago Martins has been a FIFA referee since 2015 .

At the end of April 2018, Orsato was appointed by FIFA as one of 13 video referees for the 2018 World Cup in Russia . He was used in nine games. A year later, he also acted as video referee at the 2019 Women's World Cup in France .

In October 2018 he directed a game in the Saudi Professional League .

In November 2018 he was used in the UEFA Nations League 2018/19 in the game between Georgia and Kazakhstan.
