John Pitti (born August 2, 1978 in Panama City or Chiriquí ) is a Panamanian football referee .

John Pitti has been a FIFA referee since 2012, leading international matches. Since then, he was also in the U-20 World Cup 2015 in New Zealand , the Copa America Centenario 2016 in the United States , the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup and 2017 as well as the U-17 World Cup 2017 in India in action. He acted as video referee at the U-20 World Cup in South Korea in 2017 .

In 2018, Pitti was nominated by FIFA for the 2018 World Cup in Russia . He did not preside over any games, but served as fourth official four times .

Pitti works full time as a teacher .
